Bainbridge Island

Yesterday we decided to take a ferry down to Bainbridge Island and I must say it was pure bliss. Bainbridge is one of the many islands that are around Seattle. It is considered as the second best place to live in United States, so of course I was extremely excited to check it out. The ferry ride was about 35 minutes and it was extremely beautiful. Once we got there I was pretty much speechless. Here was this amazing island with beautiful homes and the best part of it? They had the ocean as their front yard and a sailboat parked right up front. The whole island looked like it belonged in a novel I had read. I imagined myself living there the second we got onto land. Everything seemed so simple and calm. I figured it was the perfect place to raise your kids and grow old with your husband. It was almost too perfect!

Seattle Bound!

So having my summer come to an end I decided a few months ago to take a mini trip to Seattle. Originally my plan was to go to Savannah, Georgia; since I've been dying to go there for the past few years, however the weather right now isn't the best so a few of my cousins and I decided to come down to Seattle. My cousin’s mom lives here, which makes it easier because she knows all the fun places. I finally got Wi-Fi in my room to blog about my experiences. We got here on Thursday and I have to say it’s been pretty amazing! The weather has been amazing! We definitely don’t get this kind of fresh air back in LA! We have an amazing view of Lake Union and I get to watch the sun glisten on the ocean everyday as the sunrises and sets. We are staying at the Edgewater Hotel, where the Beatles would stay when in town, and would fish out their window! So, of course that made it ten times better for me. Too bad I’m not staying in the Beatles suite. Oh well, maybe next time! On the first day I got to visit the first Starbucks that opened and got familiar with the city!

Lauren Conrad Obsession

I literally fell in love with Lauren Conrad ever since Laguna Beach came on while I was a senior in high school. Since them I've always been such a big fan of hers and once she left The Hills I stopped watching it. I adore her style and the way she presents herself. I'm also extremely excited for her new line; Paper Crown and cannot wait to get my hands on it!! I take a lot of style advice from her and totally loved her style book. She gives great tips on how to accessorize your simple wardrobe and make it you.

I left my heart in San Diego..

Now that my summers coming to an end one of the places I love to visit every summer sometimes more than once is San Diego. I love every part of that city especially La Jolla. The views are breath taking and the cute restaurants overlooking the ocean are amazing. I got to spend this past weekend in San Diego, however this time I took a trip with a few of my friends to the Hard Rock Hotel at the Gaslamp District. It was my first time there and I def loved it. Although we spent most of our time at the hotel and didnt get to venture out on the streets it was still great. I got to spend some quality time with friends and allow my mind to wonder off. The best part for me is packing fun outfits from rompers to high waisted shorts to heels and pretty dresses for the evening.

Wine, Cheese, and The HollyWood Bowl

So, last week I took in a concert at the Hollywood Bowl. This was my second time, however, the last time I went was when I was 12 for the kids choice awards so I couldnt remember much of it. All I can say is that it was a completely different experience. I went for Vivaldi's Four Seasons concert and though I've never been a fan of classical music, except maybe when I want to rest my mind; I loved every minute of it. It totally blew my mind, and I got to take a vacation for a few hours. The weather was amazing  and we had taken dinner with us so we got to eat dinner and watch this incredible concert. I truly recommend if you havent gone to one before. Its a great date night!

Rihanna Live!

So a few entries ago I blogged about my obsession for Rihanna and how much I love her music and style. Well, I got to see her live in person at her Only Girl World Tour last month; and I have to say she was amazing! THe concert was a big hit, the energy was on a whole other level. The best part about it was that my friends and I got really good seats so we were really close. This was my first time being so up close at a concert. I usually have really good seats but this was totally different. It was a different experience because it felt like it was just me and her; where as before you can see the whole crowd in front of you. Overall it was a great show; she looked amazing as always. He outfits were amazing and the whole show had a burlesque feel to it which was great. Here are a few photos I took from the night!
